Silver Moon Iberians was founded by Sharon Madere, a life-long equestrian and a Certified Horse Behavior Consultant (International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants). She describes her journey: “Like so many others, I have worshiped the Iberian horse from afar for my entire life. My passion for horses began as a child, and for decades I enjoyed loving, living and learning with many types of horses: Warmbloods, TBs, QHs, and even a few gaited mounts. And yet my heart always longed for the Classical beauty and high collection of the Spanish and Portuguese horses. In 2012, I was fortunate beyond measure to begin to fulfill my dream with the invaluable guidance of some eminent retired breeders – and thus Silver Moon Iberians was born. These horses have exceeded all my expectations. Keen intelligence, generosity of spirit, smooth rideability, stunning good looks… I could go on and on.
