Solsticio (Portuguese for “solstice”) is an exceptional young horse. Beauty, brains, balance, super sweet – he’s the whole package! Sol is well on his way to a solid early education through positive reinforcement. He’ is calm and cooperative in all handling and vet care, bathing, fly spray, stands quietly for farrier, walks eagerly onto the trailer, has been hauled off farm, and has been introduced to a bareback pad and a super lightweight rider (only 50 pounds) in the stall.  As with all our young horses, Sol is growing up with a small herd in a large pasture, with lots of room to run and play with others.
