Tranquilo is totally lives up to his name (which is Spanish for calm). He is both smart and handsome, quickly and calmly progressing through every learning opportunity we’ve presented to him. Quilo (KEE-low) is confident and curious, will be a natural with obstacle challenges, and would make an exceptional Competitive Trail, Working Equitation or Western dressage prospect – as well as a fantastic partner for Classical dressage. Quilo has received a slow, thorough start. His education includes positive reinforcement training for basic handling as well as the groundwork in preparation for riding. He stands still at liberty, is quiet for hoof care, cross-ties and ground-ties, loads and hauls, has had teeth done, and shots are a non issue. Now nearly 4 yrs old, Quilo has been also been lightly started under saddle and has a wonderful canter. He’s ready for you to finish and enjoy a lifetime together.
